Samantha and I decided to put together a float in the Lafayette Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas parade in the state of Indiana. We won first place in our catagory. Everyone came up to us asking us about the breed of Tamworths and we were very happy to tell them about the breed and the Tamworth Association that we have. This year Samantha and I have had a lot of fun times and we are very proud to represent the Tamworth Association and we hope that we can do it again and keep promoting the breed to other people so that our breed will become the best that it can be. We hope to see many of you at the National show this year as well! — Courtney Gulick
This year we are once again lucky to have two Tamworth Queens. We appreciate having these young ladies to inform the public about the Tamworth Breed of pigs. They both exhibit their Tamworth pigs at their County Fairs and also at the Indiana State Fair. They also help with the activities of the Tamworth Breed.
